At some point in our lives, all of us need safe and present listening support to help us sort out the puzzle pieces of life. The Lay/Peer Counseling Ministry is available to all. We offer lay/peer counseling for individuals (male-male or female-female) and couples (a male and a female lay/peer counselor will meet with the couple). Our lay/peer counselors do not provide crisis counseling. You may also want to check out our Support and Recovery groups.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.”

Established over 30 years ago, Quail's Lay/Peer Counseling Ministry has a track record of bringing help, hope and healing to hundreds of individuals and marriages.

Has anyone ever told you what a great listener you are? Do you have gifts of encouragement and empathy? Do you like working with people one-on-one or with couples? Our Lay/Peer Counseling Ministry may be a place for you to use your gifts and passion! Training is required for those applying to join the Lay/Peer Counseling Team.
